I’ve known Brigid for 10 years and during that time I’ve seen many of the issues she’s tackled by using her position as a highly respected, action-oriented and visionary member of our community. She has made a direct and positive impact on policies and the quality of life in our area.
From fighting for good environmental policies, to serving on multiple organizational boards, to unifying massive public responses pushing back on harmful ordinances; Brigid has been there for residents in Austin and Travis County from Day One as a dedicated public servant.
As an environmental activist myself, I watched and learned from Brigid in many ways over the years. Her “finger on the pulse” approach to community engagement and her ability to bring differing sides to the table for common sense solutions only fortifies my desire to see her elected to the position of Travis County Commissioner in Precinct 2.
Brigid is the only candidate in this race who has previous experience as an elected official. The County Commissioner role is one that will take diligence in working with the community and a strong will to make responsible choices with our tax dollars. Brigid has a proven track record of this type of work ethic and inclusion in the decision making process.
I believe in Brigid so much that I have volunteered for Brigid’s campaign many times and have donated to her election bid, despite not living in Precinct 2. I hope the residents who can vote for Brigid see they have a qualified candidate who’s been a shining star in our community for over 20 years.
Brigid is the best candidate for county commissioner and Precinct 2 residents deserve an ever-committed, focused and tenacious advocate for the greater good.
